Brotherhood of Blessed Gerhard (BBG)

The BBG is a South African relief organisation headed by the German missionary Father Gérard. It runs several educational and health related projects for children in Mandeni: A malnutrition clinic, a pre school & crèche as well as a children‘s home. The area of Mandeni is hit hard by AIDS. BBG provides antiretroviral AIDS treatment, looks after HIV infected children and AIDS orphans. Apart from that, BBG provides early education for needy learners.
